Maximinus I, 235-238. Sestertius (Orichalcum, 27 mm, 16.84 g, 1 h), Rome, 235-236. IMP MAXIMINVS PIVS AVG Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Maximinus I to right, seen from behind. Rev. SALVS AVGVSTI / S C Salus seated left on throne, feeding serpent, rising from altar, out of patera with her right hand. BMC 100. Cohen 88. RIC 64. An attractive piece with a lovely green patina. Good very fine.
